Conserving with a Prius?

What is the deal with all the Prius owners who haul ass all over town like they have an endless supply of gasoline. If you speed all over the place and from one stop light to another, it isnt saving much gas. Some of the Prius owners seem to think that because they bought a hybrid they are allowed to waste the smaller amount of gas by flooring it from every light and then driving 90 mph on the highway. What a joke.
